Deaf Council

Debbie joined Sign Language Resources in September, 2002 as a Staff Sign Language Interpreter, and has evolved into resident "techie" as her sideline contribution to the company. She is the designer of this website, and is currently working on the implementation of a relational database to store, sort, and more efficiently use all of SLR's accumulated information. Her education and career began in the art field, an area she still loves to dabble in, and along the way fell in love with American Sign Language. Later Debbie decided to pursue a career as a Sign Language Interpreter, and holds "IC/TC" certification from RID. Her long-time relationship with Mary and Kathleen while in private practice made joining the staff at SLR an easy transition. Growing up on Long Island, she currently lives in Goshen, New York with her husband, Bob, and 2 daughters, Leeza and Brittney.
