Joanna came on board with Sign Language Resources in the spring of 2003. Working as the Coordination Services Manager she handles all requests coming into SLR for Sign Language interpreting services. This is quite a hefty task but she handles it with the utmost of skill, occasionally reaching out to other staff members when it gets too insane.

Joanna has attended American Sign Language classes so that she can communicate with the deaf folks that come in contact with SLR. She also has an interest in being on site occasionally for large conferences to give support to the working interpreters present.

Joanna and her husband, Jason, live in Highland, New York, with their son, Lucas. Joanna has an AAS degree in Early Childhood Education, and a BS degree in Elementary Education. No wonder she never seems to get ruffled when the workload is at times over her head.
