We Stand In Solidarity

SLR Solidarity Pic.png

We at Sign Language Resources have watched, along with all of you, the incredibly upsetting events of the past few weeks, which have highlighted lifetimes of inequality. We want to state, unequivocally, that we oppose racism and oppression in all forms. We stand in solidarity with all those who have been victimized and support the use of peaceful protest to help make substantive changes in our society and systems. We will be reaching out to our staff members, consumers, and friends in the Black, Brown, and Asian communities of our area, to discern the best ways forward as a company. We have a long history of recognizing the oppression of Deaf people but stand ready to learn and change in support of all oppressed people.

We know change must happen. We are here to listen and be part of that change.

From the staff at SLR, with love and support.
