On Site Interpretation is the most common way a Sign Language interpreter, or a team of Sign Language interpreters, provides services to you.

  •      Face to face meetings with all parties

Video Remote Interpretation uses technology - a variety of video conferencing platforms - to provide interpreters on video who then communicate with the parties involved in the assignment.

  •      Connect through the internet via various platforms like Zoom and Google Meet

  •      No travel charges

  •     Can be pre-scheduled or last minute

  •      In an emergency, it provides essential communication between parties until an on site interpreter arrives

 Conference Planning  is a service SLR provides ( coordination and consultation services} so that Deaf, Hard-of-Hearing, and DeafBlind consumers can attend conferences, workshops, meetings, and trainings with full accessibility.  Here are some of the services you may need at a conference:
