June 2021 Newsletter

June PD Newsletter Cover.png

Summer is here and the end of school is on the horizon.
Thank you for all your hard work during the 2020-2021 academic year! Remote to in person, back to remote...and then in person?!
You have conquered it all!

This will be our final PD Newsletter for this school year. We wanted to end with a slew of shout outs for all of YOUR professional development accomplishments! Additionally there are resources, workshops and things to look forward to included!

UNDERSTANDING THE IEP
5/26 OSLIS Workshop

Mary and the PD Team had a conversation with Phlip Wilson to plant the seed about the challenges of the IEP. Many interpreters don't gain access to the IEP, or know where to find it on SESIS. As a result, OSLIS planned a workshop with Rosemary Wanis to work through not only how to find the IEP, but how to read it! Hopefully you were able to attend!

If not, here's the PPT courtesy of OSLIS:
